What is EFT and how does it work?

As a holistic coach, EFT practitioner and a member of EFT International, I offer EFT sessions to my clients but always get asked … “What is it and how does it work?”

EFT stands for Emotional Freedom Technique is a type of energy psychology. It is a practical self-help method that involves using the fingers to gently tap on the body’s acupuncture points along the meridian lines of the body.  Energy healing goes back thousands of years with roots in Chinese medicine and ancient Hindu theology.

Tapping helps us tune in to the negative patterns that we form around our uncomfortable thoughts, feelings, or troubling memories. We ‘tap’ on the correct pressure points while bringing the thoughts or emotions into consciousness. The aim is to find relief, relaxation, and promote healing around the emotional or physical issues that hold us back.

Tapping can be used for anxiety, pain, stress, trauma, PTSD and many other wellbeing problems.

I offer Hourly EFT sessions or a mixture of coaching and EFT.
